Whitehall High School Senior Scholarship Awards 2025-2026
Senior Scholarships Applications for the 2025-2026 school year are open from November 26, 2025 to February 17, 2026. All applications are due by February 17, 2026 at 12:00 pm unless otherwise specified.
Senior Scholarships are awarded at the Senior Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, May 27, 2026.

2026 Rev. Dr. John Tisdale Scholarship
You will find attached the application for the $1000 Rev. Dr. John Tisdale Scholarship being presented by St. John's United Church of Christ in Laurys Station. This completed application must be received at the church office NO LATER THAN May 15th, 2026. Applications will be processed and the winner selected. All applicants will receive a letter notifying them of their status...win or lose. At that time, the date will be provided for the awarding of this scholarship at St. John's United Church of Christ in Laurys Station. The winner is asked to attend this service to receive it.
Career & Technical Education Scholarships Horatio Alger Association: This year, 300 students will be awarded with scholarships up to $2,500 to help fund their education. Funds may be used for tuition, childcare, transportation, equipment, supplies, or other related costs. - Plan to attend a not-for-profit community college or trade/vocational school
- Enroll in an associate’s degree, certificate, or diploma program by September that will lead to employment

2026 SCOTT & HOFFNAGLE SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION
Commonwealth Fire Protection Company a 100% Employee-Owned company (CFPC) is pleased to provide you with information regarding the (Stephen) Scott & (Paul) Hoffnagle Scholarship Fund. The SES & PWH Scholarship Fund was originally established in 2015 to honor the past President of CFPC, Stephen E. Scott and revised in 2018 to honor past CEO, Paul W. Hoffnagle. CFPC is a fire sprinkler contractor located in Leola, PA, York, PA and Wilmington, DE serving the Mid-Atlantic area with design, fabrication, installation, service and inspection of automatic fire sprinkler systems.

ASHE - East Penn 2026 Civil Engineering Scholarship-
The East Penn Section of the American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE) has a Scholarship Program for high school seniors who are enrolled or planning to enroll in a program leading to a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Civil and Construction Engineering Technology. (sorry this annual notice is being sent out a little later than usual)
Enclosed is a copy of scholarship program information and application. Please make as many copies of this information as necessary. Your assistance in distributing this scholarship program within your high school(s) is greatly appreciated. The scholarship application will also be updated on our website soon, www.eastpenn.ashe.pro. We are accepting emailed applications (please include “ASHE 2026 Scholarship” in the subject line) as well as mailed paper applications. There is a complete application pdf file, as well as the Recommendation Form pdf that the student can forward separately to their counselor or teacher, attached to this email. Electronic Recommendation forms must be return emailed from the counselor/teacher’s school email account to be considered valid! Also, sending a link to a file on a Google drive will typically not work – attaching PDF files directly to email is the best way to go.
This scholarship is ONLY available to students that attend a school in School Districts that serve Berks, Lehigh, Northampton, Carbon, Monroe and Schuylkill Counties. There will be a minimum of four scholarships, and each Scholarship will be for $2,500, so please encourage any applicable graduating seniors to take advantage of this scholarship!

2026 Arbor Insurance Scholarship-
Arbor Insurance Group is excited to promote our Annual College Scholarship Award for eligible High School students living in the Lehigh Valley. This will be our 6th year offering this scholarship!
The Arbor Insurance Group Scholarship Award was established for deserving students who are currently enrolled as a High School Senior (12th grade). The $1,500 scholarship can be used towards future higher-education related costs and will be payable to both the student and the school of their choice.
To apply, provide the following:
- Submit a short video (maximum of 30 seconds), explain how you support your community and why it is important to you.
- Provide proof of enrollment for the 2025/2026 academic year, by submitting a copy of your most recent report card.
- Provide a copy of your most recent High School transcript.
- Submit a letter of recommendation from someone who can speak to your involvement in the local community.
All videos submitted will be reviewed by a panel of Arbor Insurance Group representatives. The team will select a winner based on the content and creativity of the video submission. The deadline to submit an entry is May 29th, 2026 at 11:59PM.
It is important to Arbor Insurance that all students are to be given a fair chance to submit an entry and to do that we hope that you will consider listing our scholarship on your school’s External Scholarship page.

2nd Head Start Alumni Scholarship Opportunity 2026
Community Services for Children is offering a 2nd Head Start Alumni Scholarship Award for $2,500 to two recipients. This scholarship is available to seniors who were part of Head Start/Early Head Start in the Lehigh Valley and have been accepted to a higher institution to further their education. I have attached the application and flyer.
All application packets must be received by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, May 8th, 2026.
